After finishing as runners-up in the previous two editions, Saint Lucia Kings continued their impressive run in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) as the Faf du Plessis-led side qualified for the playoffs for the third consecutive season.
After reaching back-to-back Caribbean Premier League (CPL) finals in 2020 and 2021, the Saint Lucia Kings once again had a stellar campaign as they reached the playoffs for the third consecutive year in 2022.
Despite a brisk 41-run innings from captain Faf du Plessis, Saint Lucia Kings succumbed to a 33-run defeat against Jamaica Tallawahs in their Eliminator clash of the Caribbean Premier League 2022 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday.
